Hi All,
Well my lift pump and injector sealing washers arrived today so after work decided to fit them.Well lift pump job went nice and smooth and so now to replace the washers on the injectors and can i get the injectors out? can i f**k!
The injectors are in solid and they feel like they are going to snap when i try to get them out.Ive tried turning them, prising them and even turned engine over to see if they will move due to compression but nothing so now its down to you guys for some tips on how to remove the stubborn bas***ds please.

thanks in advance Col:confused:

Hi, yes everything is removed and theres nothing holding them in apart from stubborness but i dont want to damage them by raunching them out so now im stuck!

thanks Col

They just push in so ya can't damage em squirt a lod of release spray down the hole. have a cuppa then come back and twist em out.

Should be able to twist them a bit by one means or another, once freed off they soon come out:)

I had a spanner on them and they did move a little but it did not feel good! it felt like it was going to snap so i gave up. If i knew that they were not going to snap i would twist them a bit more but they are in good and knowing my luck im going to end up wrecking them.

Should move if you shock them, they are quite robust:)

Im going to trust you and give them some more twisting tomorrow and see what happens so theyve got two choices! Its probably just me being a bit of a wimp but at the moment everything im touching is turning to sh1t...lol.

I know the feeling, Col! Good luck mate, hope the come out alright. Are the all tight, or have you just tried one so far?

Well ive got the buggers out! I had to use a slide hammer with a home made adapter and they still took some getting out. There was no way in a million years that they were just going to wobble loose so a few good cracks with the slide persuaded them to let go.They were full of carbon and i had to prise the washers off so i gave them a good clean and refitted with the new washers. Now she ticks over nice and even and when you give it a good rev its nice and clean so all in all **** job but well worth it.
Thanks for the advice once again chaps!
