300 tdi hub removal

I have a rumble on a rear wheel bearing and I removed the wheel, halfsahft, brake caliper and the two 52mm hub nuts and spacer but the hub won't come off like it says in the Hayes Manual, do I need a hub puller or have I missed something?

yer bearing's stuck cos it's fooked.
