300 TDi Bosch fuel pump

Hi all is the 300 TDi bosch fuel pump used on other vehicles as I may be able to get one off a different vehicle cheaper i.e. would one from a 2.5 transit fit ? or are they vehicle / engine specific ? it is a 300 TDi manual non EDC pump

they are fitted to a few vehicles abut are set different so not interchangable
