300 tdi ABS Anyone had this fault ?

did you check the needle roller bearing in the end of the axle?
it supports the inboard side of the cv. (which has the reluctor ring on it)
failure of this bearing allows the cv to float up and down, giving intermittent air gap failure.

Yes and re-built the whole swivel including new ABS CV, bearings, gaskets the lot
 
you do know this is the same truck as the one on the other thread, i think i have nailed it down to the ABS rings been missing from the rear the 5 wheels studs were acting at a ABS ring hence why the reading generated was so low and why i had to get to 56mph to knock the light out !!

Or i hope this is the final fix just collecting some ABS rings today from a friend i will hit the roof if there is still an error, i have enough spare ABS parts to build another system !!!

Cheers for the offer for the rings i guess i sorted it too quick but these rings rant the best so might still need one !!
