Right Massive Issues with my Shed of a Disco:violin:

I must be missing something basic so fire away peeps i don't want to say what i have done on this thread so people can throw ideas to me.

its in this situation now;

Was getting code 5-12 can't get it at the moment.

ABS light extinguishes at 56 MPH

ABS cuts in at low speeds for a laugh if the ABS light is on or off

I won't be beat on this the easy options are out there but i want to beat his bitch :hippie::flame2:

.
Diagnostics needed.

Diagnostics plugged in LOL and tried the paper clip trick

Oscilloscope shows a even out put fluctuation all-round, its can't be 3 flecked ECU's so i am clinging on to a spurious fault code generated by out of range outputs from 2 worn rear sensors

FR AC 2.34V RR AV 1.22 V
FL AV 2.14V RL AV 1.12V

SENSOR RESISTANCES ALL ROUND 930 - 975

A good start would be the AC out put front and rear from the sensors from the book. i would have thought they should all be within 0.5v of each other as this would be how the ECU would tell a skidding wheel.

At tick over suspended the rear are lower than the front (AC), although both axels have even out put across the axel

all resistance are the same right around the sensors so no harness faults

Hi I would Massively appreciate it if someone could give me the values for the out put of the ABS sensors i can't open Rave on my MAC book for some reason

cant find any values in rave, if you know which section its likely to be in i'll go back and have another look.
only data I have is from the wabco manual, hope this helps!

BOOOOM cheers for that, that makes the rear out of range, so i swapped sensors no difference

Took of hubs and there was the answer …… NO ####ING ABS RINGS
the previous owner has changed the discs but Forgot to transfer the ABS rings KNOB:puke2:

Has any one got any ? they are £286 from land rover and there doesn't seem to be a out let for them any were else apart from flee bay.

aye, I have some :D

Fixed after all the ****ty chasing around it was the fact that some knob hadn't put the ABS rings back on after changing the discs
