Help!!
I've got a disco 2 1999. last week the 3 amigos came on and the code reader said it was the shuttle valve switch.I have now changed the svs and now the handbrake light is on as well, the switch at the handbrake is operating ok although the wire going to the switch is giving an earth which is i assume because the light is being activated elswhere.The brake fluid is at its operating level and the switch is testing ok.With both the fluid switch and the h'brake switch disconnected the light is still on.The handbrake light wasn't on before I changed the svs so is it something i have or have not done in the process..............er, oops. it does help if the abs brake light switch plug along sid the abs pump is connected back up before going onto any forum with a sore head. plugged it back together and no more lights.got to re-assemble centre console and bits now.
