Hi I started my 2002 td5 this morning drove about a mile and all of a sudden, the abs light, traction control light, and hill decent light came on amber and stayed on. it did not effect the driving of the car and i just wondered if anyone could throw any ideas as what is wrong with her, I was wondering if it was a fuse or does it require a garage
Many Thanks

These are known as the 3 Amigos - search the forum - there are many references for you to peruse.

There are several causes, the solution of which always starts with reading the fault codes on the ECU.

I have a similar problem. Don't let anyone tell you the only solution is a new ABS pump - circa £1,000 ; It isn't - do the research - all of which can be found on this brilliant Forum :)

Good luck

If the lights go out on a restart then it is most likely a 'soft' fault and caused by a problem in the shuttle valve switches.

ABS Mod - Land Rover Club V.I.

I had intermittent lights on our Disco 2 and did the mod which has cured the fault, I also renewed the shuttle valve switch assembly for £35 or so at the same time.

If the lights are on permanently, even after a restart then it is most likely a sensor fault on one of the hubs, and you will need to read the codes to find out which hub it is.

Sometimes you can remove the sensor, clean the seating and refit it and the fault will go away, othertimes you may need to replace the sensor or even the sensor and hub assembly.
