3.9i disco

hi i have a v8 3.9i its started leeking oil somewhere by the oil filter its hard to tell because when i run it up to get it warm enough to leek the fans blowing it over the starter and sump so any possibilities i can check please also it had a blowing manifold exhaust now replaced but now i can here it tapping which dissapears when i rev any ideas on this too ????

rocker gaskets,inlet manifold front valvey seal,front cover,crank seal or oil pump.
take the fan off and buy a carb or brake spray wash the area off and run up whatching the temp and see. it is the only way to do it

ok try that but it seems to only leak after i have driven it just ticking over i find nowt strange ?

Thats because the oil pressure is higher when driving than when ticking over.

discool fanncy seeing you here so you hide here as well?
and yes under on the road the engine revs wil be higher and the oil pressure will be higher as well thus leaking out
