3.9 sump question

Hi

I have a 3.9 engine and want to find out if the rear 2 sump threads into the block where sump bolts go to hold sump pan on, are these 2 threads capped into block I've heard not amd I'm suffering with oil leak past them I lay underneath and see it pass them. No leak any other part of sump gasket. Any info would be great thanks Kevin

If in doubt remove them, clean & use some thread sealant.
