3/5 Interior are they same?

My 3 door DI 1999 just gave up the ghost.
Head gasket failure.
I just bought a 5 door of simular age.

Are the 3 and 5 door seats the same as my 3 dr are leather and i'd like to swap them over.

the 3 door should fit the 5 but the 5 door wont fit the 3 due to tilting seats

I think you can fit the 3dr seats in a 5 door... You just will have an unused tipping action!

Years ago I had 3dr ecsort turbo Recaro seats in my 4dr Sierra sapphire..

i would like to fix the 2.o di but the mechanics round preston are not really wanting to do the head gasket.
I have been quoted £550 and £800 .
I was thinking more £150 + parts.
