I nabbed the split charger and 240v inverter off my old 200... which i want to stick on my 300... but where do i mount the second battery?

The car has ABS so the N/S Battery tray is full... ideas/pics please?

Thats what was on the 200 a second battery tray. But on ABS 300's the air box is in the way so a battery won't fit there :(

My understanding (and from what I have measured up), is that if you have a snorkel fitted, and relocate the power-steering reservoir, you can easily fit a second battery in the mirror position to the primary.

If anybody else has info I'm keen to hear from you also. :)

my 300 (with Snorkle) is the mirror image of the primary...didnt have to move the PAS resovior..but did have to move an actuator/solenoid that was fixed to the inner wing via rubber stand-off feet....it had something to do with the egr/vac system, which had been disconnected anyway.

The Jack is now in a tea-crate in the back, together with tools/spares, as is the wheel-chock

EDIT
Oops....mine doesnt have ABS, I guess that makes a big difference..

Cheers for the info mate, is there any chance you could include some pics for the rest of us considering the same kind of install? :)
