2A Air Transportable Bulkhead Repair Patch Fitting

Hi everyone,

I have a hole in my bulkhead in the usual place (see photo):

The problem is, i'm not sure how to get the old patch off, there a large metal block thats welded to the plate underneath.

Anyone have any detailed explanation of how change these?

grinder? power saw? air chisel?

Didn't know that they fitted the series 3 type of windscreen hinge to 2a.
But never mind as Slob says grinder etc.
