240v 150w microbore rigid pressure washer on board for post off road cleansing?

I'm sure there has to be a completely logical reason behind the install...?

hes got the first electric powerd land rover discovery in the uk.
the only problem was after 50 feet the extension came out of the wall so he decided to fit his own onboard 240V supply !!! he now only needs a 10 foot cable plugged into the center console
:boink:

Thats good I have a 150W inverter but its not fitted yet will have to be higher than that tho with all this water we ave been goin through latley. My brother has a 2000W inverter mounted in his L reg disco in the passenger side dashboard tray. The battery leads are bigger diameter than the discos main starter lead. Jai

lol the copper pipe was for my clutch just havnt put it in the workshop yet. I only use it to run laptop and stuff like that i was just the way of fitting it, thought someone may find the idea usefull as i think it looks quite neat, The aircraft switch is for the missiles on the roof that deploy the winch cable.

bet he was going to put a clutch lock in, in-line with the hyd pipe. you can lock it with a key in the footwell to stop unwated opperation from thieving £^$^*£&$*

LOL,

I have seen somthing similar, Once When I was running a constructionsite in Afghanistan, We used up all our nice Yank rated cable. My Afghan workers said no problem they will sort it. The next day im driving around the site to find nothing more than Cat 5 cable they used all the wires beig run from the Genny to to the other end of the site aprox (500 Meters). I thought this was bad but every time they wanted to use a drill they would cut into it nail 2 long nails into a piece of wood and wrap the cat 5 around the nails and then do the same with the drill. It were a nightmare! Plus when it snowed all you could see was wires cutting through the snow to the ground all the resistance and heat it generated. It took me about a months to get it straight the afghans thought it was the way to fo it. And we won some praise from the State department for our efforts in health and saftey opposed to the other camps. Lol Jai
