Four?! Where did the other 3 come from?!

I think he has inferiority complex as this is his 'land rover'

2 x 110 csw's
range rover
freelander (well ok maybe that only counts as a half )

Quite a good motor but they do as Ive been told have issues and they use a vvt which I am not a fan of as they are very unreliable turbos when boosted as they choke up and disintergrate. Quite interested the gearbox has had a bearing mod though could be useful If I eventually break one.:)
The only issue that Im aware of is the flaps in the auto version , they were used by the rally raid guys , running 265bhp , and seemed to hang together OK . re the gearbox , its a mod done by Ashcroft HTSH

I want this please.

Also, atouchtoomuch, you are being pretty successful on having a go at some of the biggest contributors to this forum...I still can't believe what you said to JM

JM is a top notch mechanic and knows LRs and their engines/gearboxes inside out. He's one of our most prolific technical posters and is happy to give detailed help and instructions to other members even though at times it probably costs him money because LR maintenance and rebuilds is his business.

You make unsubstantiated claims about a product you hope to sell, talk about it endlessly without giving away any real, useful info.

Can you spot the difference?

Let me make it easy for you.

JM posts as part of a thriving community of Land Rover enthusiasts dedicated to helping each other out and having a laugh while doing so.

You post on what you see as a potential market.

I've told you what you need to do twice, very clearly and warned you of the consequences of not doing so.

You haven't bothered and I can't be bothered to explain again

End of story

BMW M57 , standard , 190HP 410 nm ,plus a moderate remap more for torque spread . TD5 rad and intercooler, Hybrid P38 r380 gearbox , with bearing mod. Thats the gist of it .

Got an M57 in my 5 series. Nice quite, smooth powerful engine. I've often thought it would be a nice match to the landy - apart from the electronics. Do you have a build thread I could look at?

Sorry to reply but, even if you could stop the cylinder head bolts ripping out and the bottom end taking a **** the cam profile head breathing and injectors wont flow enough to make his mad claims!!

In Plain English.

If you want to help then explain exactly what it is that you have done to produce 250BHP.

If you're not prepared to do this then explain why not? If it's because you intend to profit from your "process" then stop telling people that they can get 250BHP from a 300TDi, but only if they BUY this information or equipment from you.

So far you have given no information that is of any use to anyone, at all. Vague hints, and false claims are as much use as a chocolate teapot.

AND WHATS THE POINT OF ALL THAT POWER WHEN A LANDY STRUGGLES AT 90MPH

SEE IF YOUR GIVING THAT ADVICE YOU SHOULD HAVE A uneek selling point so how do you do it? BUT IF YOU FCK MY ENGINE IT WONT BE JUST A LARGE BILL YOU'LL BE GETTING!!!!:D
