Hello, first post here. I’ve got a 2010 RRS TDV6 (58k Miles). I’ve noticed a slight smoke from the exhaust In start-up (blue tinge to it) and it has been noticed when people have been behind me and I’ve accelerated heavily. No loss of power, no funny noises, oil level is normal, and no warning lights.

I’ve taken a video of it. Link here;

Any help appreciated!

Try some Cataclean , it will clean yer Cat but it also cleans crap out of yer exhaust + valves + EGR + injectors etc
and maybe use some fuel additive like Redex to keep things clean, it certainly works for me and has done on 4 of the vehicles I have owned previously :D

Interesting, I’ll give that a go. Doesn’t look like anything serious or untoward then?

Last serviced at 48k (so 10k ago). I’d imagine the oil was changed then. Level showing just under 3/4.

Hello and welcome to LZ, nice sounding Cheshire Tractor. I'm with the other comments. My son's 2.0L diesel Jaguar failed the MoT on exhaust emissions and we were advised to blast through a fuel additive. It worked. There are a few on the market but just go for the deposit remover option, then don't run it stationary, take it for a blast keep the gears low ie, Sport mode and within 5 - 10 miles you should have a good clear emission, if not then go for a few weeks Redex or similar. At least if you still have smoke after that you know you've given it the low cost option before heading into diagnostic or part replacements.
If you feel inclined it may be worth checking the filters and such that would supposedly have been changed at the last service!
Good luck and come back if you need more advice or let us know the progress.
Cheers Tricky.
