Good afternoon,

got my 200tdi this morning.
Following things I'd like to know:

Clutch:
It's a 1993 Disco auto, so I just use the friction plate from me 2.25 petrol, screw on job, right?

Exhaust:
The exhaust manifold for a 2.5n/a is the same as for a 2.25 diesel. Diesel exhaust manifold for 2.25 is NLA, lrseries has one for 2.5n/a.
ERC9688 2.5 NA DIESEL EXHAUST MANIFOLD | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series
It will bolt on to the 200tdi and to the exhaust, right? (for now I'm going to drop the turbo)

Fuel filter:
Can I use
NTC1518 DIESEL FILTER ASSEMBLY | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series
with
AEU2147L DIESEL FUEL FILTER | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series
and what is the type of connection for the fuel lines? Is it the same as for the series diesel and petrol?

Pics will follow shortly

Cheers,
Phil

Yes, cuz the mileage I did with the LPG conversion was enough to nearly break even, just the consumption went up recently and now it's more economical to convert to diesel.
I've put a detailed description in another thread with data.

And I can sell the LPG system for nearly the same money I bought it. It's funny in germany.

i dont see the point in sticking a 200 tdi in a series and then take off the turbo why not just go 2.5td or 2.5 if your so worried its gonna do damage to the series running gear, im half way through my 200tdi conversion into a series 3 109

Short: If I ask the wife for money now for an exhaust, oil and intercooler after spending a lot on engine and smaller, needed parts, she'll propably kill me.
