200TDI to 300TDI Radiator and Oil Cooler

Morning All,

Quick question if i may - Would a 300TDI radiator fit into a 200TDI incl oil cooler hoses? Would i also need to get the 300TDI Oil filter housing and would this bolt straight onto my 200TDI block?

Dunno about the radiator but it is highly likely that it would be fine as it is a common updrade and the fronts of Defenders are the same - Google is your friend

Iirc the rads are the same, the difference is the adaptors between the cooler hoses and the rad oil cooler itself.
Best I can find, if no good your local hydraulic place might be able to sort adaptors fo you.

Thank you both for all the help and advice. Reason being I've come across a 300TDI Rad and it does look the same, just need to check the oil pipes etc.

Lower water hose position of 300 rad is on opposite side of the rad compared to a 200. A disco 200 rad is what I have in my truck.

Pirtek or similar can help with the adapters - I took my rad and hose into them - there are at least two variations of 200tdi pipe adapters.
