200tdi starting problem....

this one is starting to annoy me now....
200tdi auto.
just turns over and over but won't start.
Spray some easy start in the air filter and it starts and runs no problem.
I've changed the fuel lift pump so know it's not that so what else could it be??

have you checked fuel is been delivered to the pump ,with no air ,and fuel solenoids opening , new parts dont allways mean they are any good ,air can be sucked in from sender in tank ,sedimenter and poor pipes

I'm presuming the fuel is being delivered as once it's running it'll run fine no problem and revs up and drives fine.
If air was getting in wouldn't it run lumpy?
the fuel lift pump was off my other motor so I know it's a good one.

pumps self bleeding and will cope if its not too bad after its started

200tdi starting problem....
