    Hi
I have the problem that the axle has struck the crank pulley
    it a single type
could I fit a 3 groove type and will it come off with the crank bolt still in?

cant see any gap around the washers so not sure if it will come off without.

    thanks

    martin

200 tdi had a single vee belt and 300 had a multi vee (if thats what you mean) you would have to change the other pulleys that the belt ran on and if the pulley was deeper in the centre it may not work also

You will have to remove the crank bolt to release the pulley and you may need a puller to get it off the crank

Pulley is secured by 4 bolts to the crankshaft damper!

You need a Def 200tdi crank pulley which is different to a Disco 200tdi crank pulley on the Def one the outer end of the crank is a lot smaller than the Disco one and is a lot further away from the axle, if it helps i will take a pic of mine for you if you want later today once i'm back from delivering my gearbox to Dave Beaumonts, hope this helps :)
