I have tried searching for a relatable thread but couldn't see any!

Is there any how to's on wing mirror cap removal as my girlfriend has mangled hers and we have a spare wing mirror with a knackered motor and I would like to combine the 2 to make 1 decent mirror.

The only issue is that I cannot find anywhere that tells me how to take it apart and I cannot see how to do it without smashing it to pieces!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Burbs

Not sure what the OP's trying to do ere.

The glass does pull out by pushing the top in and down, and the bottom pulled out. Well sort of.

To remove the wing mirror yer need to open the door, fully lower the window, remove trim around inside top/sides of window, remove bolts holding mirror and release electrical connector.

If yer want the wing mirror in bits there's always the easter egg method - smash on a hard surface - but I would advise against this method.
