Motor's fine, but the driver's side wiper made a racket and then died.

Can the sprocket that worm gear turns be replaced?

Thanks

I think you need to replace the driver's side gerbil (dead) with one which is alive, then give the passenger side wiper gerbil a damned good thrashing for failing to supply the prescribed amount of moral support to it's co-worker. Make sure the new gerbil is of good moral standing to begin with, properly fed and waterproofed and it'll be at home in no time.

WELCOME! (It's a good idea to just introduce yourself in this section THEN post the question in the appropriate section (Defender)). Every forum's different and each one has different rules ;)

OK, got it, but can't seem to find the mechanical isse question page!

Thanks for the humor, but in Panama we still use hamsters, the tails don't get caught in the sprocket.

 - now that is a bloody good idea using hamsters!

Glad you found the section - the entire section is a mechanical issue (as are the others; Disco, RR, Freelander etc.) - no particular page just post away. I hope you get it sorted, with or without the aid of small furry mammals.
