For Sale: Land Rover Discovery Commercial 2008 (2 seats)

£10,000 + VAT (business sale, VAT receipt available with sale)

Disco has done just shy of 125,000 miles. It is a Manual.
MOT till Jan - Tax till end December

I am based 2 miles from Jcn 16 of the M1 - near Northampton.

Disco has had a lot done to it, I took it to Morocco in October and took a no-cost-too-much approach to the preperation.

Reason for sale is the requirement for a Landy with more than 2 seats. I really love my D3 and have spent a lot of time and money on it, the history of driving it through Morocco will stay with me for the rest of my life. The landy is in good condition, however, it has been used and has covered 125k and most importantly it is a commercial, the back load area has been used for carrying loads, it has some damage to the roof lining, it has some marks down the sides in the back, etc. Externally it is generally in good condition, it will have signs of being used, sadly the usual supermarket carpark damage of people pushing past it, etc. There are no major damages to it, I will photograph all the damge we are aware of. I have used it for a bit of light local green laning, however, this has always involved a friend in front of me and when required getting out and holding branches back for me! I guess i'm a bit of a pain to lane with when I take the D3! (The series doesn't get the same luxuries!)

I have literally spent 1000's on my Disco since i purchased it, the sale price is realistic taking into account the mileage and general condition. Please no silly offers

For anyone thinking of converting it to a 5 seater, my understanding is that you would need a wiring loom for the elec windows and the seats. However, this is just what I have been told, I have not looked into doing it myself.

at 98k it had all the timing belts, etc. done

Before Morocco last October (2013) it had:

New discs and pads all round, these are vented, grooved EBC brake pads with Green Stuff pads
New wheel bearings all round (complete hubs on the front)
New air suspension compressor
New complete hand brake motor mechanism and cables
Full Service (has since had a full Service this year post Morocco)
New intercooler hoses
All oils changed, inc. diffs

Please note, all parts are LR Branded - there is NO BRITPART on my disco!

Receipts for the work and parts should all be available, although they are currently with the accountant who is doing the end of year accounts, but, copies should be obtainable fairly quickly.

Extras included in the sale:

Fully Wax Oyled chassis
Snorkel
Full height "dog guard" (currently at half height)
Proper, from new, Land Rover commercial load bay conversion - note this is not the cheap Irish boxed in approach, but, the proper Land Rover system (this also gives storage space in the area which would be passenger footwell area in normal discos)
Rubber mats across whole load bay and footwells
Official Land Rover roof bars (x2)
Tow bar
Front sump guard

Optional Extras (to be purchased separaretly, either as a complete package or as a pick and choose) If purchased with the Disco at list price all accessories can be purchased for £1000 + vat.

Full expedition roof rack (some damage to front plastic section sadly)
5 x A/T tyres on separate set of alloys (details to follow) - loads of tread, one brand new
Duel battery setup including yellow top optima battery and the proper split charge system, voltage monitor and 12v sockets in back
2000W inverter including properly wired in using 70mm cable running to the inverter (provides connection point for other accessories too)
Webasto fuel burning heater oval controller - wired in and working on the timer, not done the remote control modification though
1 year old Exmoor Trim seat covers
Spare wheel protector (the one to stop it being stolen)
Parrot hands free kit including aux in, ipod connectivity and SD card system for MP3 playing, also provides bluetooth music playing, etc.
