2005 freelander td4

Does any one know if a freelander 2 td4 engine and box will fit into a 2005 freelander

The answer is No. The 05 TD4 engine is made by BMW in Steyr Austria.
The the 06 onwards FL2 engine is made by PSA, so is basically a Peugeot unit which I would guess is made in France.
They share no common parts and are a completely different in design.
