2002 td5 won't boost

2002 td5 went through some water fast more than once now it won' boost. It will rev up fine but won' boost when under load. Only goes just over 2k revs then just sits there with a slight judder. Tried unplugging maf metre and temp sensor and no different what so ever. Also unplugged (electrical plug) the little black box that the actuator pipe is connected to and again no difference what so ever. Please help I have no power

I had similar after driving through a deep puddle. Fault codes said MAF error. When I pulled the MAF out, the airfilter had turned into paper mache and blocked the MAF grid. a careful clean, a new air filter (Halfords - well it was a Sunday!) and we were back in business.

No idea how so much water got into the airbox though - I guess I really should fit a snorkel!

My air filter was drenched and it started to try and suck it in. But nothing was broken off so no obstructions have gone into the turbo. Have cleaned maf sensor

Yes I put a new filter back in. But even if I didn't wouldn't cause this problem
