Hey there I thought this would be a good place to ask but I'm having some problems with my 02 freelander td4. You see when I start the car the abs and traction control lights come up and stay on although hill decent doesn't and When I use hill decent straight from start up it's fine although once I start driving abit not only is traction control and abs still on and but the 3rd omigo the hill decent light decides to join. The brake lights are working fine everything else is smick also. I'm just really confused if this is serious or not from what I've seen in other forums although it seems people have different scenarios. id really like to know how I can fix this so if you know anything that would be appreciated, thanks guys :)

Most likely an abs sensor fault. Really need to get it hooked up to diagnostic computer to find out which one.

As its a 2002 I guess it's a 2a chassis so no chance of it just being the abs ring

ive recentely got a hawkeye and swear by them and at least they do actually do what it says on the tin

so many software claim to work but cant rely on there findings but at least u know the hawkeye is accurate and hopefully save u a world of grief trying to find the fault

Yeah I was reading the abs sensors can be a problem to thanks for that, what got me confused is like hill decent works and there's no amber light for hdc when you start the car but once I get maybe a few metres down the road The amber light comes on and hdc doesn't work and yeah investing in a hawkeye would be the way to go its just here
In Australia they are abit pricy but it's better than always running to land rover mechanic
for diagnostics
