2002 Discovery 2 Petrol V8

Hello. I'm Tammy from USA. Just bought a 2002 Discovery 2 Petrol V8 Motoronic. I bought a Nanocom and and Syncmate. It will turn over but not start. Was sitting for a year. Replaced battery. Can't get the ECU and BECM to communicate with each other. I have the EKA code but am not sure how to make sure the security code is the same for both or how to set them really need help please. Thank you.
