The 200Tdi I just dismantled has no holes on the thickness tab of the head gasket. Most sources describe 1, 2 or 3 holes although Turner also lists a "no hole". Does anyone know the spec of the no-hole gasket?
Cheers.

Hi thanks for the replies
#1. The tab is there but it has no holes.
#2. I'll measure the current piston stand proud to see if that's bigger than the three-hole threshold.

There seems to be some agreement on the 1,2,3 hole thicknesses
ERR5261=1.3mm=1 Hole, ERR5262=1.4mm=2 Hole, ERR5263=1.5mm=3 Hole
It does get confusing when you get to the quoted thicknesses and part nos for the zero/4 hole gasket.
Paddock are calling ERR1754 a "No-Hole" (1.6mm Britpart, 1.69mm Elring, 1.69mm Reinz)
Turners are calling ERR1745 ** (same part no as for a type of 300tdi timing cover?) a "no-hole" (Elring 1.6mm)
Craddock are calling ERR1754 a 4-hole

Is this at odds with the figures quoted in the Landrover toolbox video??

[** EDIT 20:50HRS I spoke to the nice lady at Turners today and it turns out that the ERR1745 was a website typo and she should now have corrected it to ERR7154]

Cheers
