because although landrover spends however much on developing the suspension of their off road vehicles, they just can't get it right. so what you do is bung some boy racer tyres on, that way you can negoiate the roundabout outside tesco at a faster speed.WHY?
Please enlighten me as to WHY wheels and tyres like those are chosen for a LandRover Discovery.
This is a genuine question. I really want to know WHY?

GOSH!! So I could invest £500 on these boots and take the Tesco chicane at 27 instead of 24! On my way to the wheel shop as we speak!
the introduction of ultra low profile tyres in effect stiffens the suspension with not a thought to what stressessss are now being put onto the other parts of the suspension.
WOW! That sounds great too! So I get a harsh ride, a sore bum, extra noise, and motre opportunities to buy bits from Paddocks! It's all good so far!
much the same as putting wheel spacers on. they increase yer track but put a shed load more strain on yer wheel bearings..
OH Yes, whell spacers ... I must have them ... I love fitting wheel bearings and swivels.
or a lift kit, we all know what they do fer yer uj's..
