2 winch questions

2 quickies but one may cxl the other

1 can i fit a winch onto this bumper

2 ive been offered a winch which is supposed to be in working order but needs a solenoid pack , so would it be working without a the selenoid ? how easy is it to replace and cost roughly.lol

sorry i dont know mec or model

You haven't posted a link for the bumper ... and how can anyone give you an accurate answer on the second without knowing which winch .. some winches don't use solenoids, they're hydraulic .. ;)

ahh i see thought we had to guess what the issues would be, will tell eric to stand down with the smoke grinder:D

But .. I've known people to plate behind the standard bumper and use it, I wouldn't recommend it myself.
 
Deep ruts and woodland, plenty of places to put in some fresh dents into your panels, I would strongly recomend not going on the red routes without winch or tree sliders! oh and don't forget to pull your wing mirrors in! ;). Other than that it's GREAT! some nice deep water as well! check out Kirton off road centre as well.
 
Yeah Tong's great .. ;)

Front wing in the following pic was done sliding into a tree on some tree roots at Tong. AT's are not too great there, but I never got 'properly' stuck .. at least I recovered myself and didn't need towing out of anywhere!!
