I need to position my lift so when the 110 goes up, the cab will rise between a truss and a gable wall and the bonnet will go up under the truss. If anyone has had one on a lift, could they tell me how far from the back of the landy to the centre of the post they have . Hope that makes sense. Ask if it doesn't. Cheers .

depends on your lift and whether arms are equal length or shorter front ones, mine has shorter front and its usual to have wing mirrors in line with the posts

So shorter arms to the front because of weight of engine and balancing point. I assume the arms can be shortened / lengthened a bit so i can position vehicle slightly more forward or backwards. Also where exactly do you put the pads on the chassis. The rear one especially .
This is the one im getting.

yes, because of engine weight and arms are adjustable, thats the tricky bit but i would make your self some shallow u shapes to stop the pads slipping from under the chassis, but usually near front cross member and rear trailing arm to chassis brackets
