Hi All
Well after owning a 300Tdi D90 since 2003 we have bought another one !! so that's two of them, one is never enough I hear you say, and they are well known to breed, just not sure why it took ours sixteen years to do it, now we have two, presumably we will soon hear the patter of tiny feet. Our "new" defender is a 2012 XS station wagon, in Keswick Green. It has aircon, electric windows and part leather seats, unheard of luxury for a defender. Chassis is sound. Well it looks sound.
We owned a classic RR back in the early 2000s which gave us the landy bug. One day I would like a series, maybe an S2/ or 2a.
We used to trial the 300 Tdi van, and still use it for moving stuff around and doing the dirty stuff, but the new one will be kept highly polished and clean. It is a thing of beauty. Just sorting out the little jobs, cosmetic mostly, bumper rust, screen supports rust, wobbly indicator switch, cubby catch, brake fluid etc etc. It was a private sale, and a little unloved. It also stinks of dog, so lives with the windows open, until I can find a way to shift the smell.
