hello all , ive no doubt there is a simple answer to this but am buggered if i know it :) .
i plan to replace my present original head unit in my 1997 my hse and fit a sony system , i think i have the adapter lead sorted for the iso plug , but problem number 2 is there are 2 aerial go into the original head unit and the sony head unit only has room for 1 :confused: :confused: someone must have been there before , can anybody help with an answer please cheers

had a shock when pulled out radio to find 2 arials i have no idea why but one worked on my radio and one didnt ???????????????????

think i used the one routed on left sid of radio hole

Hi guys..
From my experience..The higher spec P38's have an aerial and aerial amp in each rear quater light windows..(Box is behind each carpet panel in boot)
The lower spec P38's just have 1 aerial and amp in the o/s/ rear quater light....
Well this has rung true with my DSE and DHSE....Be honest theres no difference signal wise between the 2,,so i think you'll be more than ok with just using the 1 side..
