Under my landy
Just took the gf back to uni down in Cambridge, trundled across, got there, opened window for intercom, drove in, went to shut window, clunk whine, window glass drops out of sight into door. ****.

Sorted gf out first then took door to bits - the whole electric motor and related bits have ripped themselves out of the door, and are now jammed inside against the glass. Not having a socket set with me i didn't have much choice but to drive home.

So 2 hours later i'm now home, with a very cold ear, headache (motorways are noisy buggers) and now TWO land rovers to fix tonight (off-roading tomorrow in the series which is in bits, and disco is un-secure at present)

Yey.

I think the only time my window is up is when it's raining horizontally into the driver's side, other than that on the motorway i find the environment quieter with the window down....

Found it was quieter in the series with no roof, but, the disco, its definitely quieter with the window shut!

Still, after a day off-roading in the series came home and fixed the window, so at least i can go to work in comfort in the morning.
