Hey guys,

Was reversing uphill the other day and I had 2 amigos (ABS and TC)

I turned the ignition off and back on again and it went away.

happened again yesterday whilst reversing and it reset its self after off and on trick

now this morning I’m driving along at 45-50mph and the 3 amigos (ABS, TC and Decent) all came off and the ignition off and back on again definitely isn’t working

Ived had new brake pads delivered yesterday as I know the pads are getting low.

just trying to give an overview of what’s been happening with a hope of some better diagnosis and suggestions for repair!

thanks in advance for any comments or advice

Sounds like a hub is moving in a manner outside the parameters expected by the ABS system.
Which could be a bearing is worn.
It is worth checking all the ABS sensor leads are attached and intact.
You could disconnect them and check the wires for continuity, you will get a very low resistance reading, can't remember it off hand.
You'll need a proper diagnostic, like a Foxwell/Nanocom/Hawkeye to point you further in the right direction, but be wary of Nanocom as they seem to have trouble knowing their right from their left.
Once it tells you which hub is faulty changing a hub isn't a big issue.

I managed to borrow a Hawkeye from a very kind old boy locally.

never used one before and was skimming through the menus and trying different things.

the one error in the ABS menu said something about front left....

I then wiped all errors and the 3 amigos have gone (for now)

min my haste I didn’t record any error codes and now the fault is no longer showing (been out for a 5 mile drive and didn’t come back on)

Is it likely to be the front passenger hub?

mom hoping to change the brake pads over the weekend so will have a prod and feel about whilst I have the wheels off

You might be lucky and it was just a one off, but if the front left hub bearing is on its way out, it'll eventually happen again.

While your mom is changing the brake pads, get her to wiggle the hub up and down and then hold it at 9 and 3 and wiggle it that way too, to test for play, preferably with the wheel on to magnify any play. If you/she can sense it, then you will be looking at replacing the hub along with the sensor and connecting wire.
Not the end of the world!:):):)

They came back lol

luckily still got the Hawkeye so plugged it in and this is the error.
