2.8 isuzu engined 110 hi cap. good landy mod?

hi guys would appreciate a bit of knowledge on this.
i'm currently looking at a 110 hi cap g reg thats had its engine replaced with a 2.8 isuzu one. is this a recognised good modification and does it still use original landy gearbox.
and secondly this vehicle does not have an intercooler fitted but would be an obvious advantage to fit is it possible.

i ad one in mi 110 n it wa ****'ot,shud av a standard box if its on a conversion plate.yul bi able t stick a intercooler on if ya want,thi wa loads a room int front a enigine on mine.
