Hi Everyone
I was wondering if I could get some advice on what exhaust I need for a conversion I am currently doing.

I have a 1987 110 that had a 2.5NA engine in and decided to change the engine for a 200tdi discovery engine. I have done the relevant modifications and the engine is now installed. I have recently been told that the current exhaust system will be too restrictive.

I have bought the Steve Parker conversion pipe so that that the exhaust clears the engine bay. I now need to know what exhaust to get for the rear. Would a 2.5TD exhaust fit and work ok? If so, does anyone know the part numbers required? I know Steve Parker does a kit for the rear section, but wanted to know if there is other alternatives.

When I did mine I had a 200Tdi rear section from a 110 and cut and fitted the center box from the Discovery 200Tdi to fit. The box is round rather than flat so it does sit a little lower, but it works OK. When I get around to it I will fit a proper 110 center box but it's fine for the moment.

The 2.5 pipe is smaller in diameter to the 200Tdi pipe and although it's probably OK I like you thought it might be too restrictive.
