2.5na Injectors

I'm going to replace the Injector seals and I've been reading the workshop manual in how to take them off and I just have a quick Q.



I unscrewed both Nuts, Point 3 in the image, I remove the top pop and bottom pipe but it won't come out yet, is it supposed to just pull out after that or do I need to then screw out the actual injector also?

you may need to lever them out ,each injector use 2 washers one steel and one copper

I'll give that a try in the morning and see how it goes.

If they don't come out, put the nuts back on finger tight, then back them off one turn, take the solenoid lead off the pump and turn the engine over a couple of times.

That usually frees them.
