Good news after messing with wires in the footwell and engine bay cleaning the connecters and fuse box etc, the CC is now back in action, just been on a 20 mile run and its working nicely.

Thank you for advice.

PS mine is a 1998 R reg.

im confused mine had the vac pipes and throttle n stuff...oh no thinkin bout it that was the other one lol

when will you all learn, the connectors on these cars are very bad for corrosion!!! if its electrical its prolly a connector!!!

I noticed when I first bought mine that the relay and fuse blades in the engine bay were quite dirty and black. Didn't have any problems, but gave them a clean anyway.
