2.5 n/a Air Filter Housing

The 110 has a 2.5 n/a fitted but the air filter housing is missing a couple of clips. I cannot find these clips on-line for love nor money so :-
* Does anyone have these clips for sale
* Does anyone have a filter housing for sale with the clips on
* Can I just stick a different air filter housing on it say a 300tdi one or will it affect performance (I say performance but lets face it is a 2.5 n/a)

Only real difference between them is that the 300 filter is flat compared to the round one on the NA. Either will flow more than enough air.

Thanks for that Pete I may just change the bugger over then as I am struggling to find the clips for the original!

Yeah I couldn't find new. However the clips off a Range Rover airbox down the breakers fitted.

I have a friend who thinks he might have a whole 2.5 n/a unit kicking around and it's mine if I want it

Mine is held down with steel tying wire as the clips are useless.some day I'll decide on a better fix.

Does it look like either of these? The one on the left is mine, the one on the right I have no idea what it's off.

It's similar to the one on the left Discokid. (sorry for the delay in replying I have been doing stupid hours at work)

Well the one on the left is mine, the one on the right I used a clip off as I needed one. I had to bend it a bit but it's all good. If you are desperate for an air box you're welcome to it, or you can pinch a clip off it.
