2.5 hse 2002

HI GUYS JUST FITTED A DOG GUARD,IN MY P38, BUT THE WING BOLTS WHICH HOLD THE DOG GUARD IN PLACE IS MISSING, CAN ANYONE HELP,IE GOT A PAIR,OR SOME WHERE I CAN GET A SET, PLEASE LET ME NO,THANKS NICK: still no better of,still need a bit more info,if someone can help

New brackets from a LR dealer are expensive as I well know.
I don't know whether it helps but I saw a post on Rangerovers.net where a guy found out the proper name and size of the fastener used.

if its the gen LR one then i dont think they do them separately as they are captive and held in the guard. They have a spring and half turn fasten so are an integral part of the dog guard. Perhaps the first place to look would be a breakers although chances are slim or see if you can fabricate something. If you cant then scrap that one and get a cheap replica from somewhere like britpart. As its not a mechanical item or safety related, its a safe gamble.

Do a search for DZUS quarter turn fasteners or Southco fasteners.
You need them with a wing head.
