i ordered from my local indy dealer, it was around £275 with the vat the only other supplier i could find with delphi units listed were island 4x4 they are advertising £199 +vat but i tend to find their prices are never updated and it usually costs more. i did notice malting off road now offer replacement air spring kits, but at £195 per side, plus the hassle of fitting and you still have a worn shock absorber in place. they are advertising them as genuine LR but looking at the markings the look like dunlop springs. of course there is an even cheaper alternative from our industrious chinese friends but at around £130 a side.............seems too cheap

That's not so bad then, I have used island quite a bit and if items are on their website I just order and pay and once the transaction gone through there isn't a lot they can do but not a lot in it really and it never hurts to give the local dealers a bit of business as you never know when you need a favour.

Finally got everything sorted today, LR condom fitted, everything dried out, dsp amp pulled, down to a previous repair to pin 8 of the larger plug failing, so did a 'better' repair using thicker bus wire than previously used, replaced the fuse and hey presto it all works, also fitted a new tailgate seal as I had a leak there too, new seal seams to have a larger seal area than older one plus rubber seems slightly thicker. Also fitted the new strut so hopefully should get a few trouble free miles

Good news, another job off the list.
When I first bought mine I think I repaired it 90% and drove it 10%, now thankfully it's the other way around for now.

mine has been the same was quite lucky last year as it didn't cost thousands, think it was front suspension arms & ball joints, brake pads on the front and a front hub as a stud snapped off,and rocker cover gasket change, plus a service at the mo i just need to oil change mine and going prob change the coolant to and give it a flush.
