19J TD with Bosch

Was the 19J TD ever fitted with a Bosch injection pump, or can one be fitted.
I ask as I've been eyeing up a G plate 90 that has shown up on a search to be a turbo diesel model, as I plan to run it on veg it'll need to have a bosch ip.

no ,only fitted cav dps ,which have injection pressure of 135 bar , if your thinking of a tdi pump they run at 280 bar

So will a tdi injection pump (or one off another engine) fit the TD engine, and can the 19j injectors be re-set to the required pressure ?

I've done a similar IP swap on XUD engines and it's almost a straight swap, but I know nothing about the 19j.

injectors cant be upped to that pressure and still work correctly and for long,besides they are 2 different engines 19j is indirect tdi direct, you need the dps pump, or you will be building a short lived engine

Mowersman on the series 2 forum runs a 19J with Bosch pump and veg oil .

He's is/was on vegetableoildiesel.co.uk, I've read his thread on there and he seems to have had some success.
