1996 RR Window wont set problem

As above window works fine but wont one touch open or close.
I have tried the up down hold the button trick but still the same.
What do i need to change ?

have you checked window is going fully into rubber at top. maybe give it a little help

Checked that today.
Goes up and down sweet and fits in the rubber at the top nicely.

Hi.
The only way i thought was to close it, wait......then go all the way down and then back up without releasing the button until the message center says it's set. Didn't think there was anything else you could do.

Done that m8 still no joy.
It just says window not set, all the others including the roof all are fine.

When mine dont that it was the window regular in the door, you will soon get a banging when the regulater jumps its teeth. i got mine off E Bay for about £40 and easy to fit

its a common problem, if it has jumped teeth then it prolly doesnt know where it is on the gears!!

What i wonder, was really that bad about hand cranked windows ?
