1996 P38 4.6 HSE - Instrument Panel Clock Light?

Hi again,
I'm assuming this should be illuminated when the headlights are on? Mine isn't, can anyone tell me how to sort this?

Yes it should - I'm sure we've had a thread on here about changing the bulb in the clock. Do a search. Can't remember if you have to remove the dash, or if you can just pop the clock out.

You have to remove the dash to do the bulb, the clock only pops in backwards. Isnt that hard to do. Part number is 573289. You need to remove the two centre console side panels, drop the panel above the drivers knees, remove the instrument binnacle surround, remove the radio surround and then unscrew the centre facia panel. You can then bring the whole facia panel forward and get at the clock to change the bulb.
