Hi,

I just had some OEM LandRover HT Cables delivered.
The part number is RTC6551 and all the cables are a light grey colour.

All the plug leads fit perfectly, but the King Lead is way too short.

The car is completely stock, with the coil mounted next to the radiator on the front bulkhead.

Have I got the correct set of leads?

If not, what's the part number of the set I need?

Jack

going off when i bought mine from landrover yes you have the right kit. what i was told is they have stopped making some of them and are using them up. i dont know how right this is, as i was a bit miffed to find this out after splashing out on genuine leads.
i had to make my own in the end.
it does run alot sweeter with genuine leads though

You have a later 3.9 disco with the coil behind the N/S head lamp and so you have fitted the 3.5 lead kit up to vin LA081990 with the short king lead...
I have done the same :D.
The 3.5 leads also have the straight plug top connector 3.9s are cranked it you want genuine 3.9 leads they are only available individually and not as a kit.

I'm still running on the original black king lead without any probs. :)

Yes, that was my conclusion as well.

Unfortunately the king lead that was on it originally was also too short and came out of its clips and rubbed on

Does anyone have the part number for the correct lead and where to buy one from?

Thanks

Jack
