Hi all, my tps setting i thought was way out reading 12% at idle, but then again does the ecu just read 12% (the lowest it goes to) as throttle closed and at idle? it also only opened to 87% as well

im guessing no, so today i had a look at the throttle butterfly, when decreasing it can pass centre and the revs started to increase so i guess it has to be set at 90degree to throttle body to have minimum setting, this i set to the smallest i could, then i set about filing out the holes in the throttle possition sensor, this enabled me to get the minimum reading to between 2.4% and 2.7% the idle then seemed to fast so i tried the throttle by pass screw, this i was surprised to find did make a difference, its now set to around 700RPM at idle, i took it for a spin on petrol and lpg, sport mode and normal and MY GOD ITS SOOO MUCH BETTER its like driving a different vehicle and the gear changes are soo much better too, in sport it kicks down much easier....

Im currently a very happy Redrange, the results are really rather good, but it would be nice to get the iscv set up properly... assuming what i did today was "propperly" to start with, lol

Anyhow if anyone knows anything of this please do tell......

i havent the sofware to count the iscv steps unless the engine management fault code reading softeware will have it on there somewhere and i havent seen it!!
