Hi to all the disco owners out there

I have just aquired a 1994 L reg 2 door 200tdi discovery. The vehicle has had 1 owner from new and has covered 68000 miles with a full dealer service history. I brought it with no mot for £1000 took a risk as i dont know that much about discos yet. I had it mot'd and it failed on a leaking brake pipe on the osf brake caliper, other than that it was fine. As im in the trade it was a fairly easy fix and now it has it's mot. The vehicle it's self looks very cleen and i dont think it has been subject to any off road use in it's life. I owned a pajero 3 years ago, what made me buy one i dont know as iv'e always liked the discos. The pajero went after a year as it was starting to cost me money. Would like to know if this could be the case with my new aquisition. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Don't think you can go too far wrong fer a grand mate... from previous posts looks like bodywork above rear cross-member and seat belt anchor points are the worst culprits.

I'm sure one of the disco lot will be along shortly to give you the good/bad news ;)
