1985/86 Ninety Brakes

Help please

Ninety C reg 1985/86

Today I sheared off my brake caliper.
I thought ordering a replacement would be simple. but it appears its not,

Landrover changed calipers in 1986, I dont know if i have 85 or 86 calipers. I dont have an axle serial number that I can use, and the price difference is ridiculous.

Now I wouldn't mind upgrading the fronts to vented discs.

My question will 200tdi/300tdi or 2.5D calipers fit.

The reference number you're looking at is the chassis number not the number off your axle

Yeah ignore me, I've just looked on craddocks website and it is axle number dependent. Sorry

Ok the caliper bolts are the 12hex type so i assume that is metric and not imperial?

My caliper bolts are 12 point .. but 1/2" ... not 13mm as I used once ..

i'm just doing this too (110 86)

by the looks of it, mine has lockheeds 46mm 4 pots solid disc on the fron. it should be stamped if yours are the same.

about 40/50+ for 3rd party
vented won't do much unless you brake hard all the time.
