I never get enough time to use this car any more so I have finally decided I have to sell it, hoping to find someone who will be able to use it more as it's wasted sat in my shed.

Vehicle is a 1972 SWB model, 2.25 petrol engine, in hard top guise. I bought it in early 2010 and rebuilt it that year onto a new galvanised chassis. The axles were refurbished at the same time and new Rocky Mountain suspension fitted (paras). It has Defender seats, mirrors, cubby box and heater as upgrades to make it nicer to drive. Everything works - gearbox is a bit noisy and I have a spare I was going to swap in but again, never going to get around to it. Spare box included in sale. Vehicle is currently fitted with a cat flap on the rear which needs a new piece of glass fitting, it also comes with a full height rear door plus various other spares I have lying around for it. Currently sitting on Weller 8-spokes in all their 80s glory, shod with Michelin tyres in good nick. There is a spare on a standard LWB rim, and I'll throw in four more bare LWB rims if wanted. Obviously the car is tax exempt.

Since the rebuild I've kept it in garages or sheds and it has been run regularly to keep everything working, occasionally it has run me about when the 90 has been off the road, but it has not seen a lot of action.

Im looking for £4,000 for it. Located in South Scotland, I can deliver at cost if necessary. Currently on SORN, but I have a long driveway for those wishing to test drive. It's MOTd until 4th July, happy to put another years ticket on for the buyer if desired.
