I've got a set of 265r17 tyres, but as all my wheels are 16", I've got to find something else to fit them on!

I don't really want to buy new rims, and ideally I'm after steelies.

Did LR ever do a 17" rim? Are there any rims off other make vehicles what will fit?

It's to go on a One-Ten HCPU, so no lightweight alloys...

I started to Google it then thought hang on .... dude can do this himself.

Perhaps someone who knows and isn't fed up answering questions about wheels and tyres will answer. Welcome to the forum.

I have 17"Predator alloys on my 110.
They look good, but not as much choice with tyres, especialy M/T's.& the tyres you can get are more expensive.
My advice would beto sellthe 17" tyres and go with 16's.

Thank you Sharkey for your advice. I'll probably only use them until these tyres wear out, then go back to 16's.

Timc... thanks for the welcome, but I'm not new to this forum!
I'm using a mobile not a PC, and sifting through mounds of useless and contradictory information on a phone can be a nightmare. I figured asking the people in the know was a more logical approach, or so I thought.

Ah thats right... this isn't the type of forum to give out useful advise!

...my bad!

I would like to advise you that my advice would have been that you should have used advice rather than advise! Sorry couldn't resist that :D

and as for people who use 'breaks' to stop their landy rather than the 'brakes' that were originally fitted by LR :fighting: :behindsofa:

Lol, good call, I missed that one.

As for my brakes, they did break, but once I saw they were broke(n) I just fixed them. The parts were expensive, so now I'm broke...
How did we get onto stopping devices anyway?
